iPad iPad Air Screen Issues

All of a sudden, my iPad Air does not work. When I switch it on, it gradually increases in brightness until it forms a white screen with round edges and then switches off. I have tried restarting the iPad but nothing works

I have attached three images of the iPad increasing in brightness after I switch it on.

any help is greatly appreciated since this just came out of the blue and it was so unexpected of my Apple product to suddenly do that.

Sounds like hardware failure. If resetting doesn't work, buy another used.

Oh, you should honestly just buy a new iPad. The cheapest one usually goes on sale for $249. Your iPad Air 1 definitely has a hardware issue.

It looks like a hardware issue to me. If basic troubleshooting doesn’t work I’d get a new device.
