iPad Air unresponsive for the first time in years

It wouldn't turn on via home nor power buttons. I just used it 2 days ago, after coming off the charger at 100% charged. I ended up restarting it (hold Power and Home buttons down simultaneously for at least 15s). Never happened to my Ipod Touches, although I've only had my IpT3 and IpT4 for no more than 2 years, while the IpT5 has been used more heavily for its first 3.5 years, and on and off till now. 80 GB Ipod Classic (with scroll wheel) had to be restarted several times over its many, many years.


Seems to be fairly nice build qualities! The 2 constants are:
1) the Ipad Air and Ipod Classic were purchased used, so that would add even more usage time to them. How much more, I don't know.
2) all devices have NOT been upgraded. Ipod Touch 5 is still on ios7, and Ipad Air is still on ios8

My 5s does this once its in being pushed and accidentally got locked this also happened to me on my 4s ur ipad air must be doing it cuz u may have locked it accidentally under heavy use or when being pushed to its limits

It may also do this due to not being restarted in few days,weeks or months
