Hi,

Has anyone upgraded from the original iPad air to the 2018 iPad? I'm just wondering if I'll notice a massive difference? I'm debating selling the iPad air and upgrading.

All I really use the iPad for is browsing the web and Netflix so I'm not a heavy user. I have noticed that the iPad air is slowing down, due to age and I'm not sure how much longer the device will get the latest updates.

Thanks.

Yes, I just did that last week. It's amazing how much faster everything is.

Over the last few years I gradually stopped using my Air just because it was just too slow to do anything with it, but after upgrading to 2018 iPad I began using my iPad more and more.

I may be tempted to upgrade then as I have a voucher too which means it'll reduce the cost to £150 for the new one after selling the air.

Thanks.

Yes I did as well about a month ago! It really is a night and day difference, even something simple like opening the last used app. I think the additional RAM and fingerprint reader were worth it alone.

Going from an Air 1 to Air 2 is night and day. And from Air 2 to iPad 2018 is a big jump.
