With the exception of Apple Pencil-specific needs, you will almost always be better off with a MacBook.

This question has been beaten to death on these forums . . . . so you may want to check the archives and buckle-up for a long but good read! Seems Apple has given us two separate but overlapping devices, especially with the iPad use of the Magic Keyboard. As you’ll see in previous posts, much of which device is best for you personally is how use mostly use it. For sure it’s a dilemma - - some here solve it by having both! Welcome and good luck (seeking information is a great first step BTW).
