So I was in a call at work but Apple AirPods Max had terrible audio quality making it very hard to hear. I said brb, I will grap my B&W P7W which comes with a wire and build in microphone which fixed all call quality issues and we could continue the meeting 100% fine.

This worked on Mac, because they have a headphone output, but this is not possible on an iPad "Pro".

Apple should put back the headphone output on their iPad "Pro", because bluetooth sucks and is not good for "Pro" use.

But I get it. Apple uses "Pro" as a marketing term to mean it is their "best offering". I just find the name "Pro" funny.

Guess Apple is really doubling down on making it a big iPhone. If the iPhone has no headphone output, you don't get a headphone output.

Apple wants you to buy the USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter.

Unfortunately Apple decided back in 2017 with the iPhone 7 that dongles and bluetooth were the way forward. I still use the lightning headphones on my iPhone along with some Soundcore Q30 wireless headphones. For my iPad which is USB-C, I have to use a dongle which is rather convoluted when there is plenty of room for a headphone jack. Apple have decided 3.5mm jacks are old technology but the rest of the world probably won’t get that memo for another 20 years yet.

It's times like these I wish the site had a built-in eyeroll reaction, to save time on a post.
