iPad and third party Internet service

First post and probably either a dumb question or it has been asked before. I have a verizon USB internet device. Is there any way to rig or configure the iPad to accept this device possibly thru the USB camera adapter? Thanks in advance for your input.

Sure, not directly though, but you can get a Cradlepoint Wifi adapter for your Verizon USB thingy. I have a PHS300 and it works great.
