iPad app sales?

does anyone know if there are going to be sales/discounts on ipad exclusive apps at launch?
if there are how long do you think they'll last?
I'm waiting for 3g but not sure if I should begin downloading apps on launchday

I can say, for a fact, that there are apps that have special launch prices.

If you see something you like, there's no harm grabbing it. Some devs jack up prices when they see demand for their app increasing.
