iPad App store not showing updates

Anyone else have a problem with the iPad app store not saying there are any updates to apps? For instance, right now the ABC app is showing an update in iTunes, but the app store is showing all apps up to date. This has happened with a few other apps I have installed on the iPad as well. Doing a hard reset did not fix the problem.

Nor am I. Articles, 1Password Pro, and ABC Player are all showing updates in iTunes on my Mac, but not in App Store on the iPad.

Edit: after syncing with iTunes, updates seem to be showing in the App Store on the iPad.

Just an update - I wasn't getting any updates still but I just did a hard reset of the ipad and now they seem to be showing.
