iPad iPad App Store should have landscape requirement for apps

I got the new Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro and there are still iPad apps our there that still only work in Portrait mode and its super annoying. Honesty Apple should maybe start requiring developers making apps for iPad to require apps to work in both portrait and landscape. It's a first world problem but its super annoying having to constantly take the iPad off the keyboard. I have started leaving 1 star reviews for apps that only work portrait mode and explaining in the review on why, hoping that the developer will update there apps.

I totally agree with this. It’s worse that some key suppliers like Amex have removed their ipad app and now all they have is the phone app which needs to be zoomed but still stays portrait. So annoying.

There are a few others that have done this too. Shell Energy being another notable one.

What apps are you using that only support portrait?

I agree also. I always use my iPad in landscape mode, with and without external keyboard. When selecting a new app, I always try to find out if it supports landscape mode, but sometimes you have no choice.
