Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that the iPad app store is pretty bad? I can't find any of the supposed 5000 apps, and its a pain to navigate. Does anyone else feel this way?

I agree, the App Store is a pain. I want to be able to sort each category and search by price, reviews, and downloads.

I don't have an iPad yet (1 more sleep! :D) but if it's not markedly better than the iPhone App Store then my answer is yes.

I haven't been loving the search facility either.

It's not what I expected. But remember when the app store was first launched. That was nothing special. I think give it a few weeks and things will improve.

I would be happy if I didn't have to restart my browsing from the beginning again after pulling up the details of an app. It seems like it shouldn't be that hard to remember you place to come back to.

If I was a developer I'd be pissed. It's a frggen mess as far as I'm concerned.

If you're browsing you barely get any information about the app! You get the name and its category. If I was a developer I would demand AT LEAST one line of information about the app.

It's a bunch of crap.

I agree. It is poorly done. There are 3rd party websites that are not much better. One of the best features of the iPad is the amazing Apps. It should br much easier to find them.
