I stay at the hospital for few days after two major surgeries I found some good time with iMessage and FaceTime. Then moved to nursing house for two more weeks, I tried to watch some movies from my wifi mobile hard drive but the bed is awful. I walked in the hallway as part of therapy I see people does not have laptop or tablets. am I the only one with some techie stuff with me? :)

I was at the hospital for over a month, last dec-jan. I had my 12.9 ipad, my ipad mini, my macbook pro, and my iphone. I would sit out in a chair in the hallway during the day to work.

The Internet was poor; I wished I'd saved more movies before arriving (though I could download movies overnight). There was little privacy, and I had to keep an eye on my stuff, but nothing went missing.

MBP? I wouldn't bring this bec my 12.9 iPad could do anything a bit. You are right I don't trust people I had to take them with me when I go to restroom lol.

The iPad is the most versatile in my opinion. It's easy when laying down. I prefer the 9.7 size over the 12.9. Hope your surgeries went well.

Stayed in the hospital for a few days but because I was NPO and had IVs on both arms, I didn't have the strength to use my 9.7" iPad. Even the iPhone 6 was a hardship. So glad I still had my old 4" iPhone 5s. I used that to read ebooks and minor internet surfing.
