my iPad‘s backlight started mildly flickering at the top left corner. It has now slowly progressed towards right top corner too. Been a week now. both the frequency and the area of flicker is increasing. Also, it’s not visible when I increase the screen’s brightness. It’s hard to notice but it’s there. What’s causing this? It mostly starts when I’m scrolling through the screen or when the internet is weak. any clue?

pls watch this attachment in low brightness to see the flicker At the top

I think it may be due to hardware issue. Can't see the issue on your printscreen video.
Hi, apple support ran a diagnostic test and I was told there was no hardware issue. The flickering is now there often.
*pls lower your screen‘s brightness and focus on the centre of the top..on the URL.. then you’ll notice the flickers coming from either side of the screen*

I don't see any flickering in the video either and my display's already at 0% brightness. That totally makes sense since a screencap isn't capable of recording hardware issues. If you're watching the video on the same iPad that has the flickering, then you might just be seeing live flickering and not from the screencap. Try watching the video in a different orientation, maybe landscape or upside down.

Note, I had corner flickering on one of my iPads and I brought it in to Apple Store and got a free warranty replacement. I don't think a remote diagnostic would be able to check for all possible hardware issues (e.g. glue coming loose, etc).

I use 0% test it as well. If I can see it meant it is not hardware but more to software issue. You shall use other device to watch this video clip if you don't believe me. NO issue at all from the clip.

This is screenshot I took with 100% brightness, in landscape mode. am I seeing backlight bleed?
The issue with my device is that it’s not visible on easily but once you see it, it’s hard not to notice.
