Hey guys,

I really need help with this... :( :( :(

I want to backup my iPad Mini 3 64GB to my Windows 10 PC's internal HDD. However, I don't want to backup the files on my iPad Mini 3 to iCloud or any other Internet based backup system and I only want my iPad Mini 3 files to be stored locally on my Windows 10 PC.

I've got a bunch of iOS Apps that contain video files within them so for example, one of these Apps is over 20GB in size.

To do the backup, do I need to use a cable to connect my iPad Mini 3 to my Windows 10 PC?

Important: What is the most secure way I can do this?

Thank you for any advice!

EDIT: Made things a bit clearer.

Thank you for your replies!

Is it possible to backup my iPad Mini 3 using the Apple Lightning cable or must I back it up using wifi?

So when I plugin my iPad Mini 3 using the Apple Lightning cable the iPad Mini 3 will appear in iTunes right?
