Anyone notice iPad battery drain while plugged in?

I noticed last night that my iPad was plugged-in but battery is draining, and draining fast—even has the charging lightening bolt and shows as charging) And I just noticed it now, where my iPad is plugged in with ASK,but battery is draining.

What’s weird is I’ve noticed this on different charges and different cables (both the expense 29W USBC to Lighting.)

Anyone else notice this?

Got the same issue as this, can be plugged in and looking like its charging and in sleep mode but wake it up after a couple of hrs and its lost charge, have to take the charger out and put back in again and it starts to charge, using 29w Apple charger and usb-c to lightning lead

I’ve read on twitter it’s only with 29w charger.

Did any of the OS updates fix it?

Not yet but haven’t tried 11.2.5 yet

Fingers crossed.

I’m amazed this hasn’t been a bigger deal online. I guess that is a tell of how many people use iPads with 29w chargers. Guessing not a lot.

Do you have a keyboard that uses the smart connector? I’ve noticed that when I connect my keyboard my iPad will stop charging and I have to unplug and plug the lightning connector back in to fix the issue.

I do but haven’t experienced it. Does it only happen with a particular brand? I’m typically using Anker, but I do have the Apple and both have been fine.
