How long before an iPad battery begins to noticeably show signs of age? I currently have an iPad Pro 12.9 inch and use it probably five hours a day for videos and just surfing the net. By signs of age I mean how long will it be until I noticed my iPad doesn’t hold a charge as well anymore

It depends on the number of charge cycles the iPad goes through. But since the battery in an average iPad is considerably bigger than an average iPhone the battery life will also be considerably better. You shouldn’t see any degradation in 3 years with normal usage.

number of cycles has proven to be almost irrelevant to me... I have several year old ipads with over 200 cycles that have great battery life and heath estimated at 97% and ipads with 20 cycles that are less than a 1 year old and are already at 85%..

How long have you had your iPad Pro?
