iPad camera kit backordered a month???

Come on Apple! I understand it is possible selling above projections, but a month out is unacceptable. I work in the supply chain world and understand the process well and this would lead me to believe they have having supplier issues to still be backordered this far out. This is a fail on their part.

I ordered mine on the 10th of May, still shows shipping on June 7.

trust me, supplier issues is better than demand issues.

At least right now, you can place one on backorder at bestbuy.com and they state 1-2 week shipping time. There is a small shipping charge unless you are a reward zone silver member. Might want to try that in case they do ship sooner.

I ordered Mine May 2nd and ship date was may 24 but it shiped may 11 delivered may 17

If you are lucky enough to live near an Apple store you might want to consider just dropping in every other day or so -- that's how I got my camera kit at the Boston store. The employees have no idea what's coming or how many etc. but if you keep checking the shelves you might get lucky!

I ordered one from the apple store on may 21 and it says it will ship June 22. I'll be on vacation then and that's when I'll need it most. Hope it comes earlier.
