I haven't synced my iPad in one month and the time is behind by 19 minutes! Does any one else have this issue?
That, is weird.![]()
Another reason to buy the 3G version
1. Wifi always works and gets better signal
2. Includes gps
3. Clock actually keeps time

1. I have a jailbroken iPhone and use MyWi with one data contract and the ability to connect other devices to my wifi hotspot.
2. I have an iPhone with satnav app that I can actually attach to my dashboard/windscreen.
3. I have a watch.
Wow. I just assumed that the iPad reset it's clock based upon the cell or gps signal.
Do you have your location service turned on or off?
Especially weird that mine also lost ~19 mins. If you take it that it might have been 31 seconds out from my phone anyway, it would register as 19 mins difference too!
Could it be an app "stalling" the clock. What have we got in common OP!?![]()
Give it time...Never really checked mine, but I just assumed that it always synced itself anyway when it was on wireless?
Just checked mine and it was about 90 seconds out since I 1st set it when I bought it 6 weeks ago
If you come across any iPad bugs, please report them back to Apple here http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
And yes, they do read them. They don't read the forums.
GPS signal has an accurate time signal encoded into the broadcast. Without an accurate time signal, the receiver would not be able to accurately fix your location.I noticed that the location services work even without a 3G data plan active, so where is it getting the clock sync signal from, and is that "free" so to speak?
