iPad Condensation

I left my iPad (5) in my bedroom when it was a fairly cold night.

After picking it up and moving in to a warm room I notice condensation form over the screen. It only appeared to be on the front (not under the glass) and a small amount around the metal body. It wiped off pretty easily and I’ve seen no issues, however, I’m wondering if the condensation would also of occurred inside the device? Is it possible, are there anyways to tell etc..

I’ve taken more care now but wanted to know if I’m worrying over nothing?

Any advice is greatly appreciate.

Anywhere air can enter, condensation is a possibility.

Don't move electronics from one temperature extreme to another or leave it outside overnight. If you must, put it in a vacuum sealed bag or zip lock bag and let it warm/cool to the ambient temp before opening the bag.

This condensation can set off the moisture indicators.

Any moisture can spell death for electronics. I'd be a LOT more careful about the temps you subject your iPad to from now on and pray that morsture doesn't wreak havoc later on down the line...

If some water entered the unit, you may not see any problems at all. On the other hand, you might notice some a problem later on. And if water reached the moisture indicators inside, your warranty is in jeopardy.
