iPad Data Plan Question

So if I were to buy an iPad from say.. Craigslist and that person had activated the unlimited data plan, and I bought it, and just changed the Credit Card info would the unlimited plan still work, or would it default it to one of those new B.S. at&t data plans? Thanks.

I was curious about this as well. Was wondering if having an ipad with unlimited plan helps the resale value of the ipad...

I think it would NOT go with the iPad. The plans are charged on a credit card, so unless the reseller is willing to continue paying your service they are going to issue you a new plan -- which means the capped plans.
