Howdy Folks,
This may be because I am a little OCD (or maybe I am just odd LOL), but whenever I get a new iPad (or Mac or iPhone for that matter) I like to use the newest "default" wallpaper. For iPads and iPhones this wallpaper is what you normally see on the product box and in the advertising. I found out the hard way (a few years ago actually) that when you don't setup the iPad/iPhone as "new," it inherits the wallpaper form your previous device, not the new one. The solution to this is to always set it up as "new" and then just restore your apps. This takes longer, but it also give me a chance to do a little housekeeping. When I received my new 2021 11" iPad Pro (m1) I attempted to do this. What I ended up with, is what looks like the default wallpaper for the M1 Macs? Granted it looks kind of cool, but it is not what I see on the iPad Pro box. Does anyone know what the "official" wallpaper for the 2021 iPads is? It seem strange to be the same as the new Macs? Thanks!
UPDATE: Thanks to some responses to my post, I realize I have made a mistake. It is not M1 Mac Wallpaper displayed on my iPad, but rather the default Big Sur Wallpaper, as seen here: https://osxdaily.com/2020/12/15/get-the-macos-big-sur-default-wallpapers/. My question still stands, as the Big Sur picture was what showed up on mine, after a setting it up on my new iPad Pro. This, incidentally, is currently the wallpaper on my Big Sur updated 2019 16" MacBook Pro.
