It's actually really funny that you just posted that, I'm in Louisville, KY haha.

Same here. I will be FU***NG !!!PISSED!!! if it doesn't make it. And I'm sorry Apple, that my expectations were so high as to receive it on April 3rd when it was only promised to make it April 3rd.

I've been asking myself that for 4 days now. Nice to see I'm not alone. wtf IS an import scan!

No that is not me but happened to come across his video and figured I'd share for all those who pre-ordered.

According to this guy, there will be a delay on iPad Delivery's due to them being stopped at customs.

So....yeah!

thats the worst video ever, how much you wanna bet, he lives in a crappy area where it's not valid for saturday delivery or that it will come anyway?

And I don't really think this is Apple's problem. More like a UPS problem.

im pretty sure an import scan is when it makes it into the main stream of packages. the arrival is when they are unloaded from the plane/truck. the import is when it's placed on the giant conveyor belts for sorting and whatnot.

location scan is a good sign, next one will be out for delivery. I meant, there is no other hold up other than moving to next destination..

Yeah I'm sure he did get a call from Apple  Probably someone playing an April Fools joke on him.

Everyone thus far that has been worried about UPS tracking has been seeing them come through tonight.

I honestly believe that UPS wasn't ready for such a big job. The Apple Rep I spoke with today said as much, although those words were mine and not heres. She did say that they (UPS) were either lagging or not able to accurately report tracking information for so many pre order shipments.

I think it's probably a more accurately report tracking information -- it's a bit behind. I know when it left Alaska, it was updated at 8:30 but actually left 6 hours earlier.

That's BS. UPS World processes 1.2 million packages a day in Louisville. The iPad sold about 300,000 MAX in the pre-sale. Thats only 3% of what goes through that facility.

You really wanna know what it is ?

It's money. Apple is paying for this shipping a bit at a time. That's why you see this on mine :

Note that mine have been sitting in Ky. for 3 days and it wasn't released until billing information was received TODAY.

This is a BS Apple problem with them asking UPS to hold deliveries back just to make sure none get delivered early. The store shipments weren't "held back" they are in the stockrooms right now waiting for the doors to open. I'm pretty pissed.

I live in orange county and mine is in KY. But i read somewere that apple has an agreement with UPS to delay the tracking information by a day so people wouldn't try to pick them up at the local hub before the launch

I would have to agree with that. Unless you live in a remote area that wont get a saturday delivery I think you will be getting them.

I could see them delaying the info earlier in the week but not now, it's already Sat. morning. No need.
