All iPads iPad Desk Setup/Arrangment

Good day, all!

Inspired by maikerukun's post about desk setups--

Those of you who have an "iPad only" setup as opposed to the Mac, I'd be curious to see the arrangement that you all have! Obviously, we all know the iPad is far more limited to monitors, accessories, etc compared to the Mac; however, I'd be curious to a) see how many of you all have an iPad-only setup, and b) see the stands, accessories, and desks that you use for the iPad.

I use my Air 5th Gen as my PC (I have no Windows PC or Mac). 99% of the time it is in my lap mounted on its Magic Keyboard 😊👍 I know others will be more “fancy”, but this works for me! You’ll see your post in the image lol . . . .

Is this iPadOS 16.2 with extended window support? If so, how do you find it on that screen? I ask as I too have a 34" UHD widescreen and this is (nearly) the set up I am thinking of going to.

For the most part it works great. The extended support is a bit buggy yet. The convenience of USBC connection is fantastic!

I am one of the iPad users that replaced their laptop, and now with iPadOS 16.2 and Stage Manager, using for desktop also. You can read the full story here.

My M1 iPad Pro 11 replaced my MBP in Nov. 2021 for use in my real estate and property management business and totally streamlined my workflow, reduced steps I had to take, and made work a lot more fun. It is so much easier, convenient, and more intuitive to use the iPad for the work I do. In fact, I would go so far as to say, in my opinion the laptop is limiting and cumbersome compared to the iPad Pro for the type of work I do. I work with contracts, forms, docs, pdf's, take a huge amount of notes, sketch house dimensions, take pictures, communicate(messages and email), and do a bunch of scanning. Working with documents, pdf's, contracts, and forms is so much easier for me. Editing, marking up, and then sending to clients is all done within the app, and reduces the amount of steps it takes to communicate. The iPad also reduced the amount of hardware devices I needed, and condensed them all into one really portable device that actually makes my work more easy and convenient. I am 62 and have used Macs and PC's for going on 40 years now, and for some reason using an iPad and iPadOS is just something I get. I have really enjoyed using my iPad as my main device this past year, and it makes me feel good at my age, that I was able to pick the iPad up, and just run with it. IMO the iPad is the most dynamic, flexible, and versatile device Apple has ever made. Pretty cool to have something you love using for both mobile and desktop.

Though I do have a designated desk spot (on right) where I charge everything, and occasionally sit if something I’m using needs charging, my main spot is at the kitchen table.
