So my ipad was connected to my iTunes on mac to enable wireless sync. I did check the "wireless sync...." thing in iTunes, so when I unplug the ipad, the ipad stays in the sidebar. However, it keeps on disappearing every few days, so I have to reconnect it and it will show again for a few days, I don't know what's causing the ipad to be disappearing from iTunes. I did NOT eject it. If it keeps staying there, I can just press the "sync" button, and it will sync wirelessly. It's really really annoying..

Any help would be appreciated!

same thing here with my iphone. occasionally, it will appear (over wifi) in itunes. but usually, if i go to move some music to it, i'll see 'looking for iphone'...then it disappears from itunes.

am using usb to mostly sync, and move music to it.

this happened sometimes in mavericks, but happens A LOT in the yosemite beta...

This problem has been "bugging" me since PB 2. Neither my iPad or iPhone stay in iTunes 12 now after they have been unplugged.
