Does anything with this pic look wrong at all? Look at the white, does it look weird or normal to you?

3 pics,

this is the iPad Air 4. I’m thinking something doesn’t look right, like it isn’t clear. When I look at the all white it just looks weird like not clear

I really wish I could describe it but I can’t

Probably just me but I’ve always found photos of screens to not be a good way to demonstrate what they look like in person - making it even harder for you to get your point across in this thread.

Are you comparing the display quality to something else and having the display of the Air not meet your expectations based upon that comparison?

That’s what I’m thinking as well when it comes to taken a photo of another device. And no I’m not comparing, I just don’t know if this is what it’s suppose to look like.
If u can try can u see if this looks weird at all? When I look at the white on my iPad it doesn’t look clear when I look at it, like something inside the screen isn’t right maybe? Bc it doesn’t look clear. Unless I’m trippin and being delusional about it.

And it only looks off when there’s a white background, that’s it. Can’t notice it when I watch videos / black background. Idk wtf it is or if I’m just being really delusional about it

Are you trying to say that its an uneven backlight?

Well it’s not like you are going to stare at a blank white page the majority of the time, so is the display satisfactory for the activities that you will do ?

Yeah. It’s not a problem I just hope there’s nothing wrong with the display.

Do you mean it doesn't look white? I'm returning an iPad 4 because the screen has a warm yellow/pink tone. The display isn't as white as my original iPad air.

Honestly, that doesn't look right. If that is what it looks like to your bare eyes, get this puppy exchanged if you can. I disagree with a person saying that you don't look at a full white page often. Pretty much that's all I do...reading webpages, PDFs, documents, emails. Its majority white screen in these scenarios.

I actually think the black screen in a pitch black room complaints are far less important as compared to what a tablet screen looks like displaying white in normal lit room.

That could just be True Tone enabled. Have u checked to see if it’s on? True Tone gives a yellow tone
