I have noticed that if I put my finger close to the edge of the screen on one side of the iPad it does something strange.

Side of screen I am talking about is if you have it in portrait mode with home button on bottom the left side.
Or in landscape mode with home button on right side the bottom part is the weird one.

If I go to a youtube video and place finger on the edge of the screen on the side I said above the video will start going in and out like if you double tap.
It does does slow at times or fast.

This also happens in safari.
I place my finger close to the edge of screen and the bezel and safari starts
scrolling down and sometimes it crashes it.

I noticed it did this by the way I hold my iPad and it is slightly annoying.
Not sure if its a issue with all of them or just mine.

I could try and take a video of it but might not
come out to well since I cant really see well enough to see if its in frame but I can try.

Hold finger close to the bezel and screen .
It happens on mine no matter what part of the that one side I place my finger.

Hmm video might help, IDK if I am doing right. It could be the screen responding to movement on the screen then off as your finger adjusts ever so slightly.

Finger stays perfectly still.
If it where movement I would think it would happen on other sides as well just not that one side.

Hmm, that's odd. Aside from that is everything operating properly? If so, might want to go into an Apple store just to run in by them, who knows, maybe they'll replace it with a shiny new one.

Besides that it runs normal.
Now that I finished with spring semester I might drop by apple store tomrrow.

Yeah, I waited til the end of the semester to chase an iPad down or else I wouldn't study for finals like I should.

Sorry about the bad quality.
I just did it really quick with iSight.
And it was hard to tell if I was getting it perfectly within sight of the
isight since I am legally blind.

First I show what it does on videos.
For that I use TwitPad.
On the first part you cant really see my finger on the botom.
But you can see it later on in other examples.

Second I show what it does in safari.
In various parts of the bottom side.

I did not record where safari scrolls when holding down on the bottom.
but you can see from these examples what it does

UPDATE

Tried restoring it to see if jailbrake caused the problem.
After the restore it still seems to happen.

I made a appointment at the apple store for tomorrow.
My question is if this happens to anyone else.

all the ipads the the apple store seem to do it as well.
I guess its somthing they all do.
its not easy to get it to happen but once you know you get good at it.

But I can live with this not a big problem.
Knowing they all do itl.
