Does anyone knows when will the official facebook app will release? And also the ios 4 for ipad?

Apple said quarter 3 of this year. They have not said any more so no-one knows more than that.

You have your associations mixed up. 3rd Quarter is not fall. 3rd Quarter is July/August/September. During his announcement Steve said:

11:02AM "And, we're bringing OS 4 to the iPad this Fall."

That would be the 4th Quarter.
