iPad Ipad for Kids for Xmas - buy now or wait?

Hi All,

I am looking to buy 4 128gb iPads for my kids and wondering with its release only this year is there any chance a new model will come out before Christmas? I am getting the normal iPad not the pro or mini.

I understand the life cycle and this is highly unlikely however just wanted to confirm as I haven't purchased an apple product in some time.

Any advice would be appreciated.
