So, I got my iPad on the day it released. First of all I think there have been vey few bugs considering the youth of the Product. The only one I ran into was that it would disconnect from wifi when it went to sleep. If you restart the pad it went away. Somewhat understandable.
Anyways. What I really wanted to get to was the musical application of the device. Between Karajin, and Goodreader it has prooved itself invaluable already. I've loaded all of my fakebooks, instruction books, and my personal writings from finale 2010 in .PDF format into good reader. It's fantastic! Karajin. Great program concept. Unfortunately, it's obvious that they rushed through some basic proof reading in order to release the app by the day the pad came out. A lot of enharmonic spelling errors. Although, I have been emailing them constantly with whatever mistakes vie found and they have been receptive to my input. The ielectribe is great. The only thing I would want to add is the Ability to export midi files of the rhythms creeated. Polyrhythms is neat. Rj voyager will be pretty awesome when it's developed. Mixxmuse is similar to rj voyager, more interesting interface, but once again hurried concept.
Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and look forward to the Development of the apps available. At some point someone needs to release a music notation app. Finale would make a killing if notepad was available for the iPad.
