Flying a Cessna 182... I have an iPad mini 6 with kneeboard mount (rental, not owned airplane) and it's working fine, but I need more capacity than the 64GB mini. I'm contemplating the iPad Pro M4 11", but I'm concerned it'll be too large. I could switch to a removable yoke-mount.

Has anyone flown with the OLED iPads yet? Also curious about the nano-texture glass, if that might be warranted.

Sorry, I don't have experience with the OLED iPads. But in my opinion, the 11" iPads are too large for GA yoke mount. I flew with mine on a kneeboard and that was pretty big. If it's your own airplane, consider a panel mount or one of the suction cup mounts from Pivot. I think the nano glass would be pretty nice for glare, but in the airplane environment the nano surface would probably be more prone to damage from bumps and scrapes. I'd suggest using a tempered matte glass screen protector instead. You could replace that if it gets damaged.

On my kneeboard, I tend to use the mini in Portrait orientation so I'm thinking a Landscape Pro 11" would work okay - just about an inch taller. I mocked up a piece of cardboard in the Pro 11" dimensions & will check in the aircraft this week.

I don't tend to use screen protectors but maybe 🤔 I ordered a pair of matte protectors to try out on my mini. Might snap one in half to get true side-by-side comparison.

I use a Mini 6 while flying GA, and I can't imagine using anything larger. Why not get a higher capacity Mini?

I use the mini in GA, but 11” in commercial along with the issued one. 11” is too big for me in GA
