Anyone else have this problem?

I have a Genius appointment next week.

Freezes so I have to hard reset (pressing and holding home doesn't happen) -- happens in:

1) any browser iCab, Safari, Atomic
2) Air Video app
3) Youtube app

hard reset, restored, have 1.5 GB free space.

Can happen an hour into using iPad or a few minutes into watching video.

This is a known defect. Apple replaced mine without complaint or hassle. But you will need to try one thing for them to swap it out:

Do a full factory restore and make sure the issue still happens.

Mine would rarely make it through 2 hours without locking up. So I just played something obvious - like ABC's application. I let it play a couple of hours before the appointment until it froze, then I left it and brought it in and showed it to them.

They then hop to the back of the store and get a "brown box" unit to swap it out. They will swap a retail box one if it is less than 14 days old. My brown box unit was factory new and flawless. Additionally, make sure they swap out the SIM card if you have a 3G unit.

My replacement unit works like a champ and I could not be happier with it.

BTW: I was posting on pages 16 and 17 of the apple thread above.
