My sons iPad mini 2 has started to produce a problem on a weekly or so basis were by its saying it needs charging (low battery flashing up and to plug a charger in) before it will start up but yet the battery is on 100%.
I can manage to get it started but only after plugging it into my laptop with iTunes installed (laptop doesn’t appear to see it however!) and then plug it in a power source again.
I have reset it once before to factory settings but it’s still occurred around a week later.
Is this a known or recognised hardware fault and if so what is it?
