I am a huge note taker and have piles of notebooks that become a pain to sift through and with my upcoming role change at my job I need to really stay on top of things... So I was looking at utilizing an iPad for this purpose...

Will the gen 7 suit my needs? I know it doesn’t seem like a huge ask but I am looking into some of the apps that will really help. And I’d like to occasionally read and watch movies. As for computing power I have my MBP and for gaming I have consoles.

I’d rather not spend 700++ on a pro but don’t want to feel like I will need to update next year.

Thoughts?

I'd go for the iPad Air 3 instead of the 7th generation iPad.
