IPad gift purchase

Is the gift going to be for the first few people that show up to the stores or is it for everyone who pre-ordered/reserved an Ipad?

I believe this was an unconfirmed rumor, meaning no one knows the answer.

My *guess* is that it will be for the people who camp out early (a perk for giving Apple the free PR).

With the iPhone 2G and then again the iPhone 3G we received nifty bags.....no t-shirts. I suspect that probably a special carrying bag will be what is provided as an extra goodie to early arrivals at the Apple store on Launch Day for the iPad, too......

Yeah, I haven't found anything "official" from Apple that there is a special gift. Every reference of a gift has come from a rumor site.

There was no gift given out for the iPhone -- unless you consider the bag it came in a gift. I didn't. Just a little modern history.
