Once the ipad was released I was not impressed with it. I thought it was just a big ipod. Then I decided to get a smart phone (android eris) with no contract just incase verizon picks up the iphone in the near future, but it turns out i love the android phone but i wish it had a bigger screen.... well all the sudden the ipad becomes very appealing to me even though i am going to probably buy 13 mbp as i will need something portable to run windows and will need it for flash. I am planning on using the 13 mbp as main computer with external display.

Also planning a trip cross country so I assume a 3G would be best for a travel guide.

what are your thoughts, is the Ipad for me.

How much of a deal-breaker is 'no flash'?

You'd probably be ok with a combination of your phone and the MBP.

It is superb if you can live without flash. Me? I have clicktoflash on my Mac so no problem.

Another "is the iPad for me thread". Why not use the search feature? This has been hashed out a million times.

^^^^^^^^^^^
yes, exactly what NEW info do you think will be brought forth out of this thread that has not been brought up in every other "should I get an iPad" thread?

I know this is gonna come off harsh, but everyday, day in day out, it is the same exact threads.

There is a search function and there are at least 2 active threads right now that are almost the same, including one titled "convince me to buy an iPad".....

With that said, all of these threads end up with the same answer. No one here can tell you if you should get one, also, nothing posted here will flip that switch in your head either way. The only one that truly has the answer on whether the iPad is for you is you............

So open up a word document, post this thread there and then proceed answering your own question....
