Is anyone else having problems with their toddler's highjacking the iPad all the time.

My son calls it the 'Mioaw Mioaw' because of the First Words animal App.

I have to hide in the kitchen to use my iPad until he is asleep in bed, and then my wife highjacks it... :)

I still can not understand how a boy who is not even 2 years old yet knows how to use an iPad without me even showing him how it works.

Yes!

My 2 year old son has discovered YouTube. "Push the TV, I wanna watch Spiderman things"

I think Apple was right in saying this is a magical device. Using the touchscreen and browsing with the flick of a finger is so natural.

My wife says that when the kids wake up in the morning and I'm at work, the first thing they ask is if Daddy took the iPad to work.

My 2.5 year old niece is constantly using mine. She has an entire page of applications and knows how to find and open them as long as the iPad is unlocked. It's a very intuitive interface and a great platform for learning.

When I first got my iPad I showed my four year old sister the Toy Story app.
It was hilarious watching her paint and then constantly keep looking at her fingers looking for paint to be on them! :)

My 8 yo daughter loves angry birds. She loves to draw and is pretty good at it. I'm thinking about buying Sketbook pro. Doodle Buddy is just not cutting it for her.

I'd recommend ArtStudio for her. I have both apps. Sketchbook is a little more complex. ArtStudio is easier to access the tools and what not..

Yep, my three year old loves the three toy story apps and the princess and the frog one, it amazes me watching him effortlessly using it.

My 3-year-old loves the Doodle Buddy app (free!). "I wanna do stamping" is usually what I hear when she sees my iPad. :)

She's already got her own app folder on my iPhone (iOS4)...

Drawing Pad

Great interface for kids and select colors by choosing crayons, brushes or pencils of the color you want to use. Its really intuitive and has an easier interface. It is the most kid friendly with good drawing tools.

My boys love them...

My 3 year old calls it "your big thing" (as opposed to an iPhone or iPod touch, which goes by the moniker "little thing"). He likes movies and looking at family photos. My 7 year old prefers games like Angry Birds, Peggle and Ninjatown: Trees of Doom. And sometimes the only thing that seems to pacify the 5 month old is Colourful Aquarium
