If you are in Safari and have, say, Messages, in slideover hovering offer Safari, and you want to switch Messages to full screen, what’s the way to do that? Right now I find myself wanting to show the dock and then hit Messages, but that just opens it in slide over.

Oh I see that if you go to home screen first, it then launches full screen. Hmm, I don’t think that was working for me earlier, maybe it’s buggy still?

I feel like maybe apps should always open full from the dock or home screen unless you drag them up and over to the side. Or, if there were a Maximize type of full screen button on a slide over app, I would use that.

Drag the little handle at the top of the down to make the slideover window split screen, then drag the resize handle to full screen.

I think you resize the slideover app to be larger, then you drag down the top bar on the full screen app, which is now on the other side.

You can't unless your iPad supports split screen, in which case you can jump into split screen and slide away as mentioned above.
