Im using an ipad to use Imovie to make short videos and I find that Im having trouble uploading them to websites not friendly with Safari, even when I use Chrome. How do I fix this or is this even the problem? The projects are mp4s and under 5 GB. I am also finding that Imovie for Ipad isnt as easy to use as I thought it would be for this. Instead of putting the clips in rows where you could play from specific time its just one BIG LONG ROW that you have to sort through and move around and its really time consuming. Im hoping the Imovie for macbook is more like video editing software than the one for Ipad. Long story short-how do i make my imovie projects upload?

I haven’t had this issue. I export my long videos to the camera roll and then open YouTube in chrome (request desktop site from the 3 dots on the upper right) and I use the “classic“ uploader.
iMovie works for certain things and it’s a clunk for others. I use it for simple long needs (recording music shows and small edits) but LumaFusion is probably a better way to go.

Thank you, I checked LumaFusion out and it most definitely looks like what Im looking for without the expensive $300 price tag. Ill try it. As for uploading I found that when I save it to an sd card and upload from a laptop it works no problem. I have no idea other than maybe my internet connection to the Ipad was just too slow.
I really appreciate your reply. I never wouldve found that by myself.
