When I use my Ipad I have a terrible problem that when your using youtube or discord app etc and I need to use a link it opens the link via safari but it opens it through youtube or discord....

When it does this my passwords are not used and basically its a giant peoblem especially when I try to scavenge a nvidea gpu....I end up sometimes having to copy the link, shut down the app, go to safari and paste the link...

Is there anyway for these links to open via direct ipad safari and not youtube safari etc?

Some app developers have chosen to open links in a webview inside their app instead of opening the url directly in Safari. Unfortunately there’s not much the user can do about it.

Edit: But in YouTube, I think you can change this in Settings. Selecting system’s default browser should open YouTube’s links in Safari (or whichever browser you have set as default one).

You can just hold on the link and tap the "open in new tab" button.
