So I've reserved an iPad Pro for in-store pick up, however the email says pick up today but i'm not going to the Apple store until Saturday (as i live a few miles away and have a shopping trip on Saturday with friends) because I've already paid for it they will keep it won't they? also does anyone know how long they hold in-store pick up items for? nothing is mentioned on the email about how long they hold stock.

Has anyone had previous experience with this? I'm in the U.K not that it probably makes a difference I'm assuming most policies are the same.

Call them and see, usually they have a pickup window but if you call and explain I think they can change your window

I've just got off the phone with them and although I couldn't get through to anyone at the Apple Store (for some reason it transfers you to Apple support) the person I spoke with said they reserve stock for 5 days so it shouldn't be a problem.

Yup that usually is their policy to hold the product you ordered for 5-7 days. So all in all, you're good!

For Future reference, when you call an Apple Store, when you're prompted, say "Manager" and that should transfer you directly to the Store you were seeking and you can talk to someone in that Store.

Thank you for that! i will try it next time i need to call and speak to someone in the store. The automated system can be confusing because when you get through you think you are talking to someone at the store when in fact your not.
