iPad In-Store

Today, I went crazy trying to find a retail store near me that had the iPad in stock. All of the Best Buys within 100 miles were all sold out. The Apple Retail Stores within 100 miles were all sold out. Then, I decided to call Mac Outfitters, a small Apple retailer near my house. To my surprise, they had some iPads in stock, along with the case and the screen protectors from Zagg... Should I consider myself lucky? I have called the same retail stores every day for the past several days only to be notified that they did not have any iPads in stock.

I sure as hell have never heard of this place, that may be the reason they have those items in stock.

People usually flock to the Apple stores first then work their way down the chain. That small retailer might be at the bottom of that chain. Keep them in mind for the iPhone 4!

Hell you might even be the owner (or related) of Mac Outfitters.

maybe you never heard of them because they are a LOCAL chain in the OP area?

I find my local chain The Mac Store more knowledgeable and more friendly then then local apple store. plus it never has 50 million people standing around coughing. teenagers taking pictures for their myspace etc.
