Seems like it'd be a perfect device for on the can, etc. How has it fared so far?

Care to enlighten us? This would be a killer feature in my book

What ever you do, wash your hands. :p

Oh, and when I read your post the first time, I thought it said, "How has it farted so far." I suppose that would also be appropriate to the subject...

I've taken iPods and eBook readers into the tub. I didn't drop them in the water of course.

I say go for it.

Hide one under the sink from your wife and bring it out for some iPorn and you will be golden!

I have seriously tried to come up with a mount to put it up on the wall facing me, because my main bathroom has a wall that would be perfect to put a mount there and I could just slide it in.

Then I could use Netflix, or slingbox or whatever while ruling my kingdom.

Wasn't this the whole reason for the iPad being brought out? For use on the toilet... If my memory serves me correctly Steve Jobs mentioned it during the keynote...

Anyway to mod one of these lcd wall mounts so it could be near the can?

i have done it with my ipod touch.......check e-mails, you tube videos....especially when the #2 takes too much time.... takes your mind of the agony.

Has anybody done it in a plane?:p

I honestly don't think the iPad would fall in the toilet on most standard toilet lids, why? 1: Your'e already sitting there blocking most of the opening, and 2: the iPad is big enough it wouldn't fall in the remaining opening lol

iPad would be perfect partner for iBog

Aren't "iPads" usually kept in the bathroom, anyway? <snicker>
