iPad in the UK

Hey guys

I got impatient and asked a good friend of mine to pop to the Apple Store in Delaware and pick me up a 32GB iPad and ship it over to me here in the UK. It arrived yesterday morning and I honestly haven't stopped playing with it yet. A few coworkers wanted to see if so I took it to the office today. Everyone who saw it loved it.

So - anyway the reason I wanted to post this wasn't to gloat but was to ask anyone who wants an iPad if I can check anything out for them before it arrives in the UK/their home country, and post back on here my findings.

Any questions, let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

NOTE: it's just the 32GB model I have, but I use my Three MiFi when I'm out and about and it works really well.

There is tons of people in UK with Ipads now including me. Probably should have just posted in the IPad EU news thread where we have all been talking.

I've got my fingers crossed a friend on holiday in NYC this week can pick me one up ... he's staying nr the 5th Ave store so here's hoping i'll have one in my hands next weekend.... can't wait

Why on earth even bother that is barley before the UK launch.You might as well just wait and get a proper UK one.

Apparently there is some kind of reservation system at Apple stores if your friend is having trouble finding one. Not sure if you have to do it in store or if you can call the store but my friend did it whilst on holiday in Orlando when the Apple store was originally sold out. It then came in within a few days.

My friend did that too. Think that will work best.
