Great catch although I would have seen it on engadget myself soon.
what I find interesting is the space at the top and what looks like two connectors. I would have to believe the 3g card goes in there.
 
From the look of those pictures the iPad might have 2 speakers.

I had no idea they were trying to Bose the internals of the iPad. It's so cool to see how the sound winds around the inside of the iPad.
 
I was hoping for atleast 512MB of RAM. 3GS has 256MB. With a bigger device and high speed CPU I'd hope they bump the RAM a little.
 
They should have decent sound to go with the larger screen. One review said don't expect too much bass from them. I actually use EQ to reduce bass on my iPhone.
 
I don't know where anyone said it would be a mono speaker but it is defintely two speakers... just the placement of them (side by side so close together) the human ear will be unable to hear a difference between the two channels.

I read a review where it said they got pretty loud.

They are loud. Impressed by the sound. Anyone verify if the output is actually stereo??
