I was wondering if anyone knew if an iPad and an iPhone would be able to use Bluetooth to play a game with eachother like you can do on two iPhones now. I would guess that you can, but didn't know if the different hardware configurations would change anything.
I also thought of an idea about an app. Don't know if it is possible to do, but I think it would be extremely cool. Have a game that gets set up on the iPad and then other players can join in by connecting their iPhones or iPod touches via Bluetooth. The main iPad would show the main part of the game and the iPhones would show the parts of the game that each player should see. For example if the game was Texas holdem poker the iPad would display the face up cards and the pot and probably each persons chip count and then the players 2 down cards would be displayed on their own iPhone. It would also work for a game like scrabble or other games that require privacy for part of the game. Is this idea even possible right now or would that require an update to the sdk?
