I've searched everywhere and can't find a solution for this problem. I am optimizing a website for the iPad. I have a sub-nav area that has three buttons with some background graphics.

Here's the problem: unless I zoom in ALL the way, I'm getting these weird, and inconsistent, lines around parts of graphics. Things just look messy.
See here (on an iPad of course): http://bixbyland.com/properties/orange-county/greater-airport-area/inwood-park (see the sub nav toward the middle/bottom area)
Is there a solution in CSS or javascript for this weird looking bug?
Thanks for your help!
