So I upgraded my iPhone and iPad at the same time as I got a new AirPort Extreme. I gave a 10mbs Del connection, nothing too great but good enough for me. If I do a speedtest on either device I get the full 10mbs. But, pages seem slow to load. The progress bar goes a quarter of the way of do, pauses for a while, then eventually the page loads. It's noticibly slower than my old devices and very annoying. In cellular I don't see the same slowness.

I've read through some threads about slow wifi, but haven't found anything that seems to help. Most threads are about it being tested slow. My tests show I'm getting the right speeds.

Any thoughts on why? Anything I should try? I have reset the router and modem. I've tried WPA2 and with no security. I live about a quarter mile from any other wifi networks. I am in the same room as the router with nothing between the devices. I can't think of anything that could be interfering.

Do you have a computer that you can connect to the router using a cable?

I could get one, what would I do? Just test a wired connection? I'm assuming the test would be the same and show the full 10mbs

So, today I got a MacBook and pages load quickly. So I switch back to my ipad, and pages load quickly:). So, more testing I guess. Thanks for the help, I'll post back if things slow down again.

One other thing I've noticed is videos often don't load, still doing that,
