ipad issues with memory

Dear All,

I used my ipad to look at some photographs direct from my camera using the camera kit. Whilst the ipad was attached but not syncing to my mac I needed the space the downloads were taking so i went into the ipad and deleted the pictures one by one. I then resynced but the itunes is still showing 300+ (9GB) of photos but the ipad itself is showing only 3 photos.

I have tried a full restore but the problem is still there. Anyone know how I get my space back?

iTunes makes a copy of your pics (& music, etc) in it's own folders on your computer's hard drive. So just delete them in iTunes if you don't want them.
