Just got my Ipad :) 64gb wifi + 3g.I am so excited box as been opened and I am using it dont mean to rub it in :p

Well It Just Works :p.No really this thing is amazing.I am thinking i may feel to sick to go into work now :p.I am updating it now :).

I was too excited. I'm expecting another delivery so I needed to make sure it was the iPad and not that lol. Getting it synced now. Screen is gorgeous, and feels very nice to hold. I've seen people say it's a little heavy but I actually like the weight. Makes it feel more solid.

nice and bright? are you going to get a case case, not jus a sleeve/holder thing?

yea i would want it to be heavy but not too heavy - so it feels just right. 700g should do that nicely :D

I got the official Apple case with it, haven't tried it yet though as I'm still getting everything set up. I've seen a few other good cases though. Kevin Rose (Digg) reccomended the DodoCase which looks nice and there seems to be a few nice leather ones out there.

Screen is very bright. I agree with others though who have said the default wallpaper makes it look like you have scratches on your screen :) Scared me for a moment.

hahaha very interesting design, i was more thinking of going for a silicon design - not too fussed about it.

poor you with the scratched background thingo :p

My girlfriends arrived this morning and my dock! Be interested to see how the 3G compares to my wifi one.

If it's faster than mine connected to the 3 mifi I might have to upgrade!!:p
 
My 64GB WiFi iPad arrived not long after 10am BST via UPS, and the iPad for the office 16GB WiFi+3G arrived about an hour later via TNT.
 
could people who are receiving their ipads please respond with the time (BST) place they live (area) and the courier (UPS or TNT).

PS does anyone know if UPS will tell you of an estimated delivery time (am or pm) as I need to know when to be home from work.

Mine arrived at about 10:30 am from TNT. I live in Belfast.I guess people are getting them a day early is because they have too many to ship tomorrow and at time of purchase Apple said they would arrive by 28th. I don't think they want people to have to wait over the weekend for them.

cheers mate I live in portstewart. Doubt UPS will get this far out into the sticks today but here's hoping.

You never know. At least you only have to wait one more day, think of the late preorders who will have to wnait until mid-end June!
