I’m looking for a cable that attaches to the three pin keyboard connector (preferably using magnets to secure and align properly) on an iPad 11” and goes to a lightning connector for Apple’s wireless keyboard. I know this is technically possible to create, the Apple wireless keyboard works with connection WITHOUT Bluetooth on a Mac), but I’ve scoured and haven’t found such a beast.

Any leads out there?

PS - I want to type with a keyboard that’s NOT connected physically (so a case wouldn’t work) so I can type in portrait mode at a distance when at a table. Previously, I’ve had to do BT connection with a small stand to hold the iPad correctly at a desk.

Have you tried just using a USB-C to Lightning cable? You’re not going to find a cable that goes from the three pin connector to Lightning. Also, why not just use the Magic Keyboard over Bluetooth? That works fine.

I just use a Magic Keyboard for this myself and put the iPad on a small stand.
