ipad launch in australia-what places are they selling the ipads at?

A friend of my dad has gone for a vacation to Australia and is going to return back after the 28th of may-the day the ipad makes a launch in 9 new countries....I was wondering what places are the ipads be available for sale because i was thinking of ordering a couple of 64 gb ipad 3g models...Would only apple stores be stocking them or there are additional tie-ups in this regard...
Would be grateful if anybody could help...Thanks!

I believe on launch it'll only be Apple stores and then resellers will pick them up in the following weeks. Might be wrong though.

Just a heads up though, pre-orders for Australia for the 28th are already finished through the Apple website and pushed back til early June for delivery. So it might be a case of selling out quickly through the Apple store come the 28th.
